Why does Square show tips and sales under another user’s name?

You may notice differences in tip attribution between the Payments Report in Square and the corresponding tips allocations in 7shifts.

This can happen because the 7shifts integration allocates tips based on who collected payment in Square, whereas the Payments Report in Square may attribute tips to the Square user who opened the order or who was attributed the sale. 7shifts attributes tips to the team member who collected payment in Square, as this most accurately reflects which team member was serving the guest(s) when tips were paid.
