ADP Run Error: "Permission required"
Issue
If you encounter the following error message on the Integrations page:
"Permission required: 7shifts does not have permission to access your data in ADP. Head over to Consent Manager in ADP to ensure 7shifts has consent to access your data."
What To Do
Here are the steps you can take to resolve the issue:
Check for Pending Consents
- Click the button in the error message to be redirected to your ADP Marketplace.
- On the ADP Marketplace, go to the Consent Manager page.
- Approve all pending consents them from this page.
Create Unique Logins for Each ADP Company Code

This error can also occur if you try to connect all your ADP RUN company codes using a master login instead of creating unique logins for each one.

Create unique logins for each ADP company code and 7shifts account.
Clear Old Connections
- The old connection needs to be cleared before reconnecting using the unique login. In this scenario, please get in touch with our Support team via chat.
