What Happens When the Trial Ends

Automatic Billing

If you don’t cancel before the 14-day trial ends, you’ll be automatically billed for the Tip Management add-on.

  • Billing begins on the trial expiry date, but the charge will appear on your next scheduled 7shifts invoice.
  • Charges are prorated to match the remainder of your current billing period.

✅ You’ll receive an email reminder 3 days before your trial ends.

How to Cancel The Trial

You can cancel at any time during the trial:

  1. Log in to the web app as an Admin.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Add-ons > Tip Management.
  3. Click the More Options icon (⋮) > Disable.

What Happens After Cancellation

  • You won’t be charged after canceling.
  • Access to Tip Management will end immediately, but reporting data from the trial will remain available in the Tip Pooling Report, Tip Payouts Report and Worked Hours & Wages Report respectively.

💸 Float Refund Scenarios

  • If you cancel during the trial and have added a float:
→ You must manually disable the add-on to complete offboarding. This will trigger the float refund.
  • If you cancel the add-on after the trial ends and have been billed:
→ Your float will be automatically refunded—no action needed.
  • In both cases, float refunds are sent to your original payment method within 10 business days, and an invoice will be emailed to you.
