Can I see who edited a schedule?

You can see who made changes to the schedule in 7shifts using the Activity Log, available from the dashboard. The Activity Log shows who published, republished, reverted, or cleared a schedule, along with timestamps for each action. It doesn't show a detailed breakdown of the specific shifts that were added, edited, or removed.

What the Activity Log shows for schedule publish events

Expanding a schedule publish event in the Activity Log shows the following details:

• Week of - the date range for the published week, for example "April 5-11, 2026."
• Days - shows "Full week" if all seven days were published, or lists the specific dates if fewer days were included.
• Changes published - the total number of shift changes included in the publish action.
• Notified - the notification option that was selected, for example "Only those with changes."
• Location - the name of the location the schedule was published for.
• Department - the department included in the publish action.
• Roles - shows "All roles" if the full department was published, or lists the specific role names if only some roles were included, for example "Chef, Dishwasher, Expo."
