How to view and export your historical Tip Payout data
The 7shifts Tip Payout feature has been officially retired as of June 30, 2026. Your historical Tip Payout data remains fully accessible — you can still review, filter, and export past payout records at any time using either the Tip Payouts page or the Tip Payouts report.
Things to Know
Important: You must be an Admin or Manager with reporting permissions to access Tip Payout data.
- Historical data access is not affected by the retirement of the Tip Payouts feature. Past records remain available indefinitely.
- Two access paths are available: the Tip Payouts page (for log review and filtering) and the Tip Payouts report (for CSV export).
View Payout Logs and Transaction History
The Tip Payouts page remains active in your account and allows you to review Payout Logs and Transaction History by location, date range, user, and status.
- In the left navigation bar, go to Tips > Tip Payouts.
- Select the desired location from the drop-down.
- Select the Payout Log or Transaction History tab.
- Use the filters to set the desired date range, user, and status.
Export data via the Tip Payouts Report
The Tip Payouts report lets you export historical payout data as a CSV file for a selected date range. The exported CSV file includes Employee ID, Employee Name, Gross Payout, Net Payout, and Withholding.
- In the left navigation bar, go to Reports > Tip Payouts.
- Use the filters to select the desired date range and location.
- The report will populate directly in the web app.
- Click Export CSV to save the report to your device.
