How are Shift Feedback notifications sent?

Shift Feedback notifications are sent at the end of an Emloyee's scheduled shift - not when they have clocked out. 

For example: If an Employee is scheduled 8AM - 3PM but calls in sick/no-show, they will still receive the shift feedback notification at around 3PM.
