How to offer up part of your shift in the Shift Pool
In 7shifts, you can offer up part of your shift so a coworker covers only the hours you need help with — without giving up your entire shift.
Things To Know
Important: Partial shift offers must be enabled by your employer. Contact your manager if this option isn't available to you.
- You can offer a partial shift to all coworkers who share your role, or to a specific employee.
- Your shift stays yours until a coworker takes it and a manager approves the swap.
- If your manager edits the date or time of your shift and publishes the schedule, your shift is automatically removed from the Shift Pool. You'll get an in-app notification. If you still need cover, you can offer it up again.
- You can take back your offer at any time before it's approved.
