Merge API


Merge is a developer tool that embeds API integrations so developers can pull and post data across any of the platforms Merge offers connections with (categories such as HRIS/Payroll, ATS, Accounting, CRM, Ticketing, Directory, and more).

A robust dashboard allows users to control the scope of data being synced through Merge, configure webhooks, troubleshoot and resolve issues (such as expired API keys, and more) without the use of engineering resources.

Merge normalizes the data synced from 7shifts' API and gives developers a full suite of tools (logs, issue detection, etc.) to manage the integration.

Please Note

To connect Merge API with 7shifts, you need to generate an Access Token. Please refer to the steps in this article.

New users can activate the integration by the following steps:

  1. Login to Merge API, select 'Get Started' in the left-hand menu, and click on 'Open Merge Account':
  2. Select 'Human Resource Information System' :

  3. Click or use the search bar to find 7shifts:


  4. Acknowledge the requested access by selecting 'Continue':


  5. Paste your 7shifts Access Token and click 'Submit':


  6. Click 'Finish Setup' and you've successfully activated the integration! 🥳


Once complete, you'll see data begin to sync between the two platforms:
