Can one Manager approve another Manager's time off or availability?

Answer

No, they cannot.

If the 'can manage own time off' permission is set within their manager profile then they will be able to manage their own Time Off, but due to the hierarchy model within 7shifts they will not be able to 'manage' other Managers Time Off requests. Once approved, they will be able to see the approved Time Off for Scheduling purposes.

Managers do not receive time off or availability requests from a fellow Manager as they are at the same hierarchy level. They would receive it from any user assigned as Assistant Manager or Employee.

Hierarchy Levels by user types:

Admin > Managers > Assistant Managers > Employees
