Grant Third-Party Administrator (TPA) Access in Kentucky

A Third-Party Administrator (TPA) is an external organization or service provider that manages payroll and employee benefits on behalf of a company. To comply with Hawaii state regulations, 7shifts Payroll customers must grant Check (our payroll processing partner) TPA access to the Kentucky Unemployment Insurance. This enables Check to handle payroll-related communications directly with the department on your behalf.

Note: Confirm that Check Technologies has TPA access for the current year and upcoming filing periods. Access can have a prescribed end date or extend indefinitely. Update or renew the access as needed.

Steps to Authorize Check as Your TPA in Kentucky:

  1. Go to the Kentucky Unemployment Insurance Self-Service Website and log in to your account.
  2. From your Employer Home Page, find the Maintain Third Party Administrator (TPA) Authorization from Account Maintenance in the left navigation bar.
