Grant Third-Party Administrator (TPA) Access in Maryland

A Third-Party Administrator (TPA) is an external organization or service provider that manages payroll and employee benefits on behalf of a company. To comply with Maryland state regulations, 7shifts Payroll customers must grant Check (our payroll processing partner) TPA access to the Beacon UI Employer Account. This enables Check to handle payroll-related communications directly with the department on your behalf.

To authorize filing and payment on your behalf:

  1. Log in to your Beacon Employer Portal
  1. Under Your Options, select Account Maintenance
