Following articles and sections

You can subscribe sections and individual articles in the 7shifts Knowledge Base to receive email notifications when new content is added. Following a section or article subscribes you to updates from that content.

Keep the following in mind before you start:

  • If this is your first time, sign in using your 7shifts email and password. If you don't have one, you can create a Knowledge Base account during the sign-in step.
  • You can follow sections and individual articles.
  • You cannot automatically follow all new articles across the help center. You must follow each section individually.
  • If a section contains subsections, you must follow each subsection separately to receive notifications for it.
  • You will not receive notifications when the body of an article is updated.

SIgn in to follow content


When you click Follow for the first time, you'll be prompted to sign in.

  1. Navigate to the section you want to follow.
  2. Click Follow.
  3. When prompted to, log in:
    • If you have a 7shifts account, sign in using your 7shifts email and password. You can also use Google, Facebook, or Microsoft SSO.
  4. Choose your notification preference:
    • New articles only: you'll receive email notifications when new articles are added to the section.
    • New articles and comments: Unsupported.

Once signed in, your Follow action will be saved automatically.

Unfollow content


You can stop following content at any time.

To unfollow a section:

  • In the section, click Following, then select Unfollow.

To unfollow an article:

  • In the article, click Following. The button changes to Unfollow, confirming you are no longer following it.

Logout of the Knowledge Base


When you're ready to sign out, click Sign out of Knowledge Base in the top right corner of any page.

If you're unable to logout of the Knowledge Base, type the following URL into your search bar:
https://kb.7shifts.com/access/logout
