How to add Scheduling Notes to an employee profile
Scheduling Notes let you record important details about an employee's scheduling preferences directly on their profile in 7shifts. Notes are visible to anyone who manages that employee's schedule.
Things to Know
Important: Managers and Assistant Managers require the permissions "Can edit employees" to add/edit Scheduling Notes and "Can manage schedules" to view Scheduling Notes on the schedule.
- Scheduling Notes are added from the employee's profile under the Team section.
- These notes will be available when viewing the schedule. Only Admins and Managers with permissions can see scheduling notes.
- Scheduling Notes are only visible on the web schedule.
Add a Scheduling Note
- Go to Team and open the employee's profile.
- Select the Scheduling Notes tab.
- Enter any relevant notes about the employee's scheduling preferences.
- Click Save.
View Scheduling Notes on the Schedule
- In the left navigation bar, head to Schedule.
- Locate the employee on the schedule, and hover the note icon to view scheduling note.
