Why This Happens

Cash App assigns a unique routing number and account number to each user who has an active Cash App Cash Card. 7shifts Payroll uses these numbers to send direct deposit the same way it would for any standard bank account.

Employees without a Cash App Cash Card don't have a routing or account number, so direct deposit can't be set up for them in 7shifts Payroll.

What To Do

Have the employee locate their Cash App routing and account numbers, then add them as a bank account in 7shifts Payroll.

1. Ask the employee to confirm they have an active Cash App Cash Card.
