Using the What’s New page to access 7shifts feature waitlists and recent updates
The What’s New page is a dedicated space in 7shifts where Admin and Managers can stay informed about product updates, upcoming features, and early access programs.
Things to know
- The What's New page on the web app is visible to Admins, Managers, and Assistant Managers, who can all opt-in for Kitchen Beta Program or feature waitlists for the account directly from this page.
- The Employee user type cannot see or access the What’s New page.
- Joining the Kitchen Beta Program does not guarantee immediate access but signals interest for future opportunities and our team will be in contact when availability opens up.
- If you join the Kitchen beta program or feature waitlist in error, contact the 7shifts Support Team to be removed from the list.
Access the What’s New page
The What’s New page provides visibility into how 7shifts is evolving to support restaurant operations and lists historical updates as well as information on upcoming features.
- Log in to the 7shifts web app.
- Locate the main navigation menu on the left side of the screen.
- Select What’s New to view recent releases and upcoming features.
Join the 7shifts Kitchen Beta Program
Note: Joining the Kitchen Beta Program opts your account into general future opportunities, while joining a specific waitlist focuses only on one tool.
The Kitchen Beta Program allows restaurant leaders to partner with 7shifts to test new tools before they are released to the general public.
- Navigate to the What’s New page.
- Find the Kitchen Beta Program.
- Select the option to Join Beta Program to signal interest in early access opportunities.
Sign up for feature waitlists
Specific features currently in development may have dedicated waitlists on the What’s New page.
- Review the list of features in development on the What’s New page.
- Select Join Waitlist for the specific feature you want to test.
- Wait for a 7shifts Team Member to reach out if your account is selected to coordinate onboarding and feedback.
Review Recent Updates
The What’s New page maintains a history of recent updates to ensure your team is using all available 7shifts tools. Select the Explore Feature button next to each release to be directed the Knowledge Base article for more information.
Note: Some features highlighted on the Recent Updates section may require an upgrade from your current 7shifts plan.
