No. Once a 7shifts workplace or location address is established in Check and 7shifts Payroll, it cannot be modified within the existing profile due to legal tax jurisdictions and payroll regulations. Updating the address in your standard 7shifts settings will not update the information inside 7shifts Payroll.

Why This Happens

Workplace addresses are tied directly to local tax jurisdictions and withholding configurations. To maintain accurate tax reporting history and compliance, the system locks the address data on an active payroll location profile once it has been set up.

What To Do

To transition to a new workplace address, follow these steps:

1. Create a new location within 7shifts account settings with the proper address.
2. Add this new location profile to your 7shifts Payroll account using the updated workplace address.
3. Reassign all active employees from the old location profile to the newly created location profile.
