How to Change the Currency in 7shifts

When enabled by an Admin, the account will display the local currency symbols across select areas of the account. This guide explains where currencies appear, which countries are supported, and how you can update your account settings.

⚠️ Updating the country setting will adjust the displayed currency symbol (e.g., $, £, €). It does not perform a currency conversion.

Supported Currencies
  • United Arab Emirates: Dirham (AED)

  • Belgium: Euro (EUR)

  • Cyprus: Euro (EUR)

  • Germany: Euro (EUR)

  • Spain: Euro (EUR)

  • United Kingdom: Pounds Sterling (GBP)

  • Ireland: Pounds Sterling (GBP)

  • Norway: Krone (NOK)

  • Poland: Zloty (PLN)

  • Sweden: Krona (SEK)

  • Japan: Yen (JPY)

  • South Africa: Rand (ZAR)

  • Hungary: Forint (HUF)

  • Malta: Euro (EUR)

  • Luxembourg: Euro (EUR)

For all other countries, the system will default to U.S. Dollars (USD $).


Where Currency Symbols Appear

Currency symbols currently appear in the following areas of 7shifts (web only):

  • Labor Budget Tool
  • Sales vs. Labor Dashboard
  • Manager Log Book
  • Wages & Payment within an employee profile
  • My Timesheets for employees

How to Update Your Currency

  1. An Admin user must update the Country in Company Settings.
  2. Once saved, the supported local currency symbol will automatically update across the product areas listed above.

Employees do not have the ability to change the currency on their own accounts.
