You can proactively enter a new wage or salary for an employee if the rate is to change on a future date.

⚠️ Mangers will require the 'Can view wages' and 'Can edit employees'  manager permissions in order to update an Employee's wage or salary.
Here's how:

1. Head over to Team in the left navigation bar:

2. Select the specific Employee's profile to edit it and head to the 'Wages' tab where you'll see the Employee's current wage(s) or salary.

If setting a salary, select 'Weekly Salary' from the dropdown menu under 'Wage Type.'

3. Next to the wage or salary you would like to adjust, enter the new wage or salary and select the date this will take effect.

4. Be sure to click 'Save.'

On the chosen date, all new shifts created for this Role and employee will have the new wage or salary applied.

5. You can remove or edit the wage or salary change prior to the effective date by clicking the 'Garbage Can' or 'Pencil' icon.
