Signing in with Apple

New users can leverage Apple authentication when they are invited to a company for the first time. Are you an existing user? Use your Apple account to get back into the app and reduce the number of passwords you have to remember!

Linking your 7shifts account to your Apple account

To connect your 7shifts account with your Apple sign-in:

1. Go to app.7shifts.com > click Sign in with Apple:
   
   
   

    

2. You'll be redirected to Apple where they will ask you for your login credentials:
   
   
   
   

3. You'll be redirected back to 7shifts where you be asked to enter your 7shifts credentials:

   

    

4. You will now see in your 'My Account' section that you are linked to your Apple account:

   

When you receive a 7shifts invitation email

1. When you are invited to 7shifts by your employer, click on Join your team.
   
2. Select the Sign in with Apple button.
   
   

3. You will then be redirected to Apple where you will enter your login credentials
   
   

4. You will be prompted to log in. Choose Sign in with Apple (this will automatically sign you in without another prompt).

    

5. You're all set! See your connected accounts in My Account:

   

   If you've signed in with Apple when accepting an invitation to 7shifts, you can also create a password in 7shifts, to be able to log in without your Apple account.

   From the My Account screen > click on Create Password above (Connected with Apple).

Signing in with Apple on the mobile app

For iPhone:

1. In your mobile app, tap Sign in with Apple:

    Tap Continue.
   
   

3. To link your existing 7shifts account to your Apple account, enter your 7shifts sign-in credentials, and tap Link my account:

   

    

4. If you've signed in with Apple when accepting an invitation to 7shifts, you can also create a password in 7shifts, to be able to log in without your Apple account.

   Tap on the 7shifts logo at the bottom left, then tap your profile picture at the top right, and then 'Create Password'.
   
   

5.  Enter your password in both spaces and tap 'Create Password'.

    

On Android:

1. In your mobile app, tap 'Sign in with Apple'

2. You will be prompted to enter your Apple  login credentials

3. Enter the 2 factor authentication code that is sent to you

4. Click 'Trust'

5. Click 'Continue'

6. Click 'Continue'

7. To link your existing 7shifts account to your Apple account, enter your 7shifts sign-in credentials, and tap 'Link my account'

If you've signed in with Apple when accepting an invitation to 7shifts, you can also create a password in 7shifts, to be able to log in without your Apple account.

Tap on the 7shifts logo at the bottom left, then tap your profile picture at the top right, and then 'Create Password'.

Enter your password in both spaces and tap 'Create Password'.
