Language Support

7shifts is currently available in three languages:
  • English
  • French / Français
  • Spanish / Español

This means that when you select your preferred language, all text in the 7shifts web app will be displayed in this language.

⚠️ The automatic translation of text entered into any fields, including our Messaging feature, is not supported.

Updating your language preference for the 7shifts web app

Here's how to change this setting:

1. Login to your account at

2. Head to Settings > My Account.

3. Scroll down to the 'Language' field.

4. Use the dropdown to select your preferred language and then click the green 'Save' button at the bottom of the page.

Once you've hit the 'Save' button, your language preference will take effect and all text in the web app will be changed.

Updating your language preference for the 7shifts mobile app

You do not need to make any changes. Our iOS and Android apps are localized—meaning they will automatically be available in your language of choice if your device is set to it. 

If your smartphone is already set to either French or Spanish, the 7shifts app will automatically detect this and switch languages when you launch it.

⚠️Mobile notifications are in English by default and will remain in English until you specify your language settings in the web app.
