New Tip Pooling Option for Revel

Released March 12

Customers integrated with Revel POS now have a 'Debit & Cash' option while setting up a tip pool. This update means tips collected from both debit card payments and cash tips are now reported distinctly from credit card tips at the receipt level. To ensure that your tip payouts are accurate:

• Review your locations' Tip Pool contribution settings 
• and verify your tips to payroll settings to ensure cash tips are mapped for payroll

Understanding Payouts: Money Movement and Payout Status

We've updated payout statuses. A "Paid" status indicates funds have been withdrawn from your 7shifts float. Employees may still need to verify their debit accounts to receive their tips.
