I changed my phone number in my 7shifts profile profile. Do I need to update my 2-Step Verification (MFA) phone number too?

Answer: 

Yes, you do.

The phone number you enter in your 7shifts profile for contact information is separate from the phone number used for 2-Step Verification (also known as Multi-Factor Authentication or MFA). Changing your profile phone number will not automatically update your MFA phone number.

To update your phone number for 2-Step Verification (MFA):

  1. Log in to the 7shifts web app.
  2. Go to Settings > My Account > General.
  3. In the Login & Security section, find the 2-Step Verification (or Enable 2-step verification) section and follow the prompts to update your phone number.
