Does changing my 7shifts profile phone number update my MFA?

I changed my phone number in my 7shifts profile. Does it automatically update my 2-Step Verification (MFA) phone number too?
Answer
No. The phone number in your 7shifts profile is separate from the phone number used for 2-Step Verification. Updating your contact information will not automatically change your security settings.

7shifts maintains separate data fields for your personal contact information and your account security credentials. This separation ensures that your 2-Step Verification remains secure even if contact details are adjusted for communication purposes.
What To Do
Note: You must be logged into the 7shifts web app to complete these security updates.
To update the 2-Step Verification phone number for your 7shifts account:
- Log in to the 7shifts web app.
- Navigate to Settings and select My Account.
- Click on the General tab.
- Locate the Login & Security section.
- Find the 2-Step Verification area and follow the prompts to enter your new phone number.
