Does changing my 7shifts profile phone number update my MFA?

I changed my phone number in my 7shifts profile. Does it automatically update my 2-Step Verification (MFA) phone number too?
Answer
No. The phone number in your 7shifts profile is separate from the phone number used for 2-Step Verification. Updating your contact information will not automatically change your security settings.

7shifts maintains separate data fields for your personal contact information and your account security credentials. This separation ensures that your 2-Step Verification remains secure even if contact details are adjusted for communication purposes.
What To Do
To update the 2-Step Verification phone number for your 7shifts account:
- Log in to the 7shifts mobile app.
- Tap your Profile Icon.
- Tap Login & Security.
- Under Two-factor Authentication, tap SMS / Text message.
- Follow the prompts to enter and verify your new phone number.
- Log in to the 7shifts web app.
- Click your Profile Icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Select My Account from the dropdown menu.
- Under the General tab, scroll to Two-step verification.
- To edit the Text Message (SMS) phone number, select the more menu (⋮) next to the method and select Edit.
