Why does my employee shows $0 on the schedule, but they have shifts?

Issue

An Employee's schedule displays shifts, but their wages show $0 under their name.

What To Do

⚠️ Managers and Assistant Managers require permission 'Can edit employees', and 'Can view wages'.

This issue can happen if:

  • The employee is scheduled under a department but no role has been assigned.
  • The role assigned to the employee has a wage set to $0.

To resolve the issue:

  1. Log in to the web app as an Admin or Manager/Assistant Manager with permissions.
  2. In the left navigation bar, head to Team.
  3. Click on an employee name to expand their profile.
  4. Select the Assignments tab, and verify that they are assigned to a Role.
  5. Select the Wages and payment tab, and verify the role has a valid wage set (ensure it matches the role they are scheduled under).
