How to Delete a Chat

In this article, you'll learn how to manage and delete messages in 7shifts. Messages you delete will be replaced with the text: "This message was deleted."

Prerequisites

⚠️ It is only possible to delete a message from a user-level type below you (i.e: an Admin can delete the message of a Manager, not vice versa).

To delete a chat, use the tabs to change your viewing preferences through the mobile or web app:

Long press on the message > select Delete message:
Alternatively, users can choose to report the message. To do this, long press on the message > Report Message > click and add any notes/comments before sending it:

Hover over a message and click on the More Options icon > select Delete:
Click Delete once more to confirm these changes:
