What is the difference between the "Pending" and "Processing" status for Payroll?

What do the "Pending" and "Processing" statuses mean in 7shifts payroll?

Answer

When reviewing your 7shifts Payroll overview, each payroll will be labelled with one of the following status icons:

• Draft: Payroll is created but not yet submitted/approved.
• Pending: Payroll is submitted/approved, but can be reopened if edits are necessary.
  • This status is temporary and will automatically advance to Processing 60 minutes after approval/submission.
• Processing: This indicates that the transfer of funds to pay employees is in progress. Payrolls cannot be reopened or deleted once they are Processing.
• Paid: Payroll funds have successfully been withdrawn and paid to Employees.
