Time Clocking

Released Week of June 10 - Web

The Time Clocking page is getting a new look! This new experience was developed to improve visibility, increase efficiency, and make additional features more easily accessible. This includes new Employee Punches, and Labor Summary tabs:

In the coming weeks, these new experiences will be slowly rolling out to our users. During this time, you can expect to see the Time Clocking changes taking place in your Account and our Knowledge Base.

Update Employee Profile Information

Admins and Managers can fill in key Employee details without leaving the Schedule page. Once an e-mail has been set, easily invite Employees to 7shifts.

Add an Employee 'in-line' on the Schedule

Admins and Managers can now create employee profiles directly from the schedule allowing them to add new Employees without navigating away from their current task - creating the Schedule!

Mobile Dashboard: Who's Working

This Dashboard Who's Working section is undergoing some changes! This new experience was developed to improve visibility, increase efficiency, and make additional features more easily accessible. In the coming weeks, this experience will be slowly rolling out to our users. Please ensure that your app is updated with the latest version.

SMS Notifications

As of May 29, 2024, 7shifts will be discontinuing several SMS notifications. Going forward, SMS notifications will be limited to:

• Two-factor authentication
• Welcome invite
• Schedule published
• Schedule updates
• Changes to shifts (shift pool approvals, and shift trade approvals)

You can find a full list of the SMS notification changes here. The purpose of this change is to improve your 7shifts experience and provide a more reliable way to stay connected (pssst- this includes future updates with a Notifications Center!).

While SMS notifications will be removed, you can continue to receive mobile notifications through push notifications (recommended) or email.

We kindly ask that you review your current notification settings and that you remind your team to enable push notifications.  They're instant, reliable, and will ensure you never miss an important update.
