How do I change my e-mail address in 7shifts?

To update the email address linked to your 7shifts login, follow the steps below. Your current email stays active until you complete verification — your new email becomes your login only after the change is confirmed.

Things to Know


  • The verification link expires after 24 hours. If it expires, start the process again from the beginning.
  • After the change is finalized, a security notification is sent to your old email address. If you receive this notice but did not make the change, reset your password immediately and contact 7shifts Support.
  • If you have multi-factor authentication (MFA) enabled, you'll be asked to verify your identity before making this change.

Change Your Email Address

  1. Log in to the 7shifts mobile app.
  2. Tap your profile icon at the top left from the Dashboard page.
  3. Under My Account, tap Login & Security.
  4. Under Login Credentials, tap the more menu (⋮) next to your email address. 
  5. Tap Change email address.

  6. Enter your new email address and confirm it.
  7. Check your new email inbox for a verification email with subject "Verify your new email address" from 7shifts and tap the link to confirm the change.
  8. Enter your new email address and confirm it.
  9. A verification email will be sent to your new email address. Tap the link in that email to finalize the change.

Note: You will also receive a security notice to your old email address with details of the change.
