How do I change my e-mail address in 7shifts?
To update the email address linked to your 7shifts login, follow the steps below. Your current email stays active until you complete verification — your new email becomes your login only after the change is confirmed.
Things to Know
- The verification link expires after 24 hours. If it expires, start the process again from the beginning.
- After the change is finalized, a security notification is sent to your old email address. If you receive this notice but did not make the change, reset your password immediately and contact 7shifts Support.
- If you have multi-factor authentication (MFA) enabled, you'll be asked to verify your identity before making this change.
Change Your Email Address
- Log in to the 7shifts mobile app.
- Tap your profile icon at the top left from the Dashboard page.
- Under My Account, tap Login & Security.
- Under Login Credentials, tap the more menu (⋮) next to your email address.
Tap Change email address.
- Enter your new email address and confirm it.
- Check your new email inbox for a verification email with subject "Verify your new email address" from 7shifts and tap the link to confirm the change.
- Enter your new email address and confirm it.
A verification email will be sent to your new email address. Tap the link in that email to finalize the change.
Note: You will also receive a security notice to your old email address with details of the change.
- Log in to the 7shifts web app.
- Click your profile icon at the top right of the page and select My Account.
Go to Login Credentials and click Change email.
Follow the prompts — a verification email will be sent to your new email address.
- Click the Verify email address link in that email to finalize the change.
Note: You will receive a security notice to your old email address with details of the change.
