Time Change Settings (Daylight Saving Time)

Time change, often referred to in the context of Daylight Saving Time, is the practice of adjusting clocks forward or backward by one hour during a certain period of the year. 

7shifts will automatically adjust the Account's recorded labor data (i.e. time punches), according to the Location's Timezone setting. 

Steps to verify your Timezone settings

1. Log in to the web app as an Admin.
2. In the left navigation bar, head to Settings > Locations, Departments & Roles.
3. On the Locations page, click on the pencil icon next to a Location name.
4. Under the General tab, verify the Timezone:
   
   
5. To make changes, choose your timezone from the dropdown menu and hit Save to complete these changes.
